John Edwards Attacks Clinton Campaign Question Plants

John Edwards has released a video attacking Hillary Clinton for the recent admissions by Clinton campaign staffers that certain questions were planted at campaign appearances, along with a biting website called Plants for Hillary. The video is the second in recent weeks in which Edwards has directly gone after Clinton.

Slate reports: "The senator insists she doesn't condone question-planting, and claims she didn't know what her staffers were up to, but not everyone buys her story."

UPDATE: New evidence has recently surfaced that some of the questions suggested by media outlets like The Nation to be possible plants, are in fact queries generated by the questioners themselves.

Tonight's CNN debate in Las Vegas co-sponsored by the Nevada Democratic Party should be the toughest one yet. Clinton remains the frontrunner, although her lead has narrowed since the last debate, which was a virtual feeding frenzy during which she stumbled, and later declared to be "not her best".

  1. I think planted questions are bullshit, whether it's Bush or Hillary taking them, but Chris Matthews has such a hardon for Hillary, it's embarrassing to watch, even more so than it is to watch Russert jump on her like an attack dog.

The more people attack her, the more i like her.

  6. I only caught a few minutes of the debate but she got herself back on track. Like it or not she is going to be the nominee and both Obama and Edwards shoud call her on her positions but Edwards is coming off as desparate and he is only give the GOP material.

I was goiing to vote for Obama in the primary but not after the BS he pulled with the SC fundraiser. And Edwards is just making me like Hillary more. Are the Clintons full of shit? News Flash!!! Most politicians are.

  7. Patrick, have you ever taken a polysci class or even a basic civics class in high school?

Iowa and NH are what counts and the latest poll out of Iowa has a statistical tie between the top 3. Hillary at 25, Edwards 23, and Obama at like 22 BUT margin of error is 3-4% which means a tie at the moment. The winner of Iowa and NH ends up the winner of the dem nom because of boost from win. Howard dean this same time last year was #1 on everybody's toungue but in iowa he ended up coming in 3rd on the actual day of the vote and Kerry came out of nowhere and won.

Bush lite= NO tax increase on the top 6% is bad, clinton might very well win. BUT at the moment nobody has voted and she is in a statistical 3 way tie in Iowa.
