Larry Craig and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad Among 2007 Notable Quotables

Larry Craig's quote "(I have) a wide stance when going to the bathroom" and Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's statement "In Iran we don't have homosexuals like in your country" made a list of year-end "best quotes" compiled by Fred R. Shapiro, an associate librarian and lecturer at the Yale Law School. Shapiro is the editor of The Yale Book of Quotations.

I had to go back to You Tube and watch the video. Samberg is the only one left on SNL that is funny. One of the best hits on bigotry this year. That and Jon Stewart. Let's hope the strike ends soon.

If only those people wouldn't take have taken our maps away!!! It would be cool if they put maps on the internet. Then everyone would have maps.

that's a pretty good list there, and I especially like the biden quote about giuliani. quite true
but really, how can anyone compile such a list and not have some gem by george w.("wreck the language") bush is beyond me
