Shock Overnight Developments for Gay Team on Big Brother 9
For those of you who have been watching Big Brother 9 (which has been pretty great so far) some rather stunning developments happened after last night's show on the live feeds concerning gay team Neil and Joshuah.
SPOILERS - Do not read any further if you don't want to read SPOILERS...
AFTER the jump...
When the live feeds came on last night. Neil was gone, and Joshuah was seen packing Neil's suitcase and crying. No explanation was given.
Via GuyTVBlog: "It turns out that one of the guys, I can't remember who, reveals to other houseguests that Joshuah and Neil had their FIRST KISS in the kitchen earlier last night. Then sometime later Neil gets called into the Diary Room and is apparently told something, no one knows for sure. He NEVER comes back into the house. Joshuah is then called into the Diary Room and is told that his partner Neil is no longer part of the game. Allison Grodner, Big Brother 9's Executive Producer, apparently told Joshuah that he now has to pick between eliminated houseguests Jacob or Sharon to be his new partner. Joshuah makes his pick and then leaves the Diary Room. The houseguests are gathered in the living room and are told that Neil is no longer part of the game. No one is talking about the reason but Neil is OUT. They then tell the houseguests that a replacement player will enter the house. Everyone at this point apparently shouted out with happiness except Joshuah, being highly emotional, is fucking livid that everyone has quickly forgotten about Neil. So in walks Joshuah's replacement... Sharon! Joshuah escapes to the bedroom where he and Neil slept together for the game and starts packing Neil's personal belongings, as instructed. Later in the night we find out from Joshuah that when he walked into the Diary Room that Neil's cup and microphone was left on the couch. Joshuah is upset that he didn't even get to say goodbye to Neil. Joshuah also reveals he was crying for about 20 minutes while the BB people were asking for Joshuah to make a decision as to who he wanted to be his new partner. Around dinner time Joshuah is still so emotional that he can not eat with his houseguests so he goes into the Sauna room to eat by himself, of course later he is joined by one of his alliance members, Chelsia. At one Chelsia tells Joshuah... "God I hope everything is okay with him... It's going to be so weird, everyone was sitting there and Neil was like 'Oh Hey!' in his Gay Little Voice!" BITCH! Joshuah doesn't take the comment personally because he's just this huge emotional trainwreck."
Boo! I do not like this development.

Silly Hamsters blog reports that apparently Neil's reason for leaving had something to do with his family and was voluntary.

this is all so disappointing. as a longtime big brother fan, i was really excited to see two gay guys paired off together. i wish all the best for Neil and hope that Joshuah can hold it together. CBS had better air that kiss between them too!

It was so sad to see Joshua in that state, he seemed to be really into Neil and I can`t stand the fact that Neil left, though, it`s something of a coincidence that he leaves after he and Joshua kissed.
Had Neil not left, can you imagine the drama?

Three things.
1) This is all very confusing
2) It sucks that there isn't a gay team on the show any more
3) I went momentarily blind from reading all this this white text on a black background. Bad layout.

As a former close friend of Josh while he attended college in Austin, his propensity to throw temper tantrums and get highly emotional is nothing new. His emotional "boil overs" are legendary and can last for hours. Josh is the nicest guy you would ever hope to meet, until he perceives that you say or do something he doesn't like. Then all bets are off. I watched his BF try to calm him down when he flared up and that would only make things worse. So, if he is still on the same path, look for him to turn his sights on Big Brother the next time they cross him which is bound to happen. It's not going to be pretty.

Westerly -- they did not "HOOK UP" as you so homophobically expressed it ("typical, I guess" is what you wrote).
They 2 guys were paired together by BB -- all the other teams were M/F. This was a gay team. They were in the house several days before they shared a kiss.... If you had watched, you would have seen the women throwing themselves at the men and doing much more than kissing within seconds of seeing them.
The couples are required to sleep in the same bed.
Let's have the facts, WESTERLY, before making negative comments, okay?

Oh my God, kissing someone for the first time after spending several days together is so ~*~typical~*~ of those awful gays and their awful behavior.
Geez, Westerly, I don't much care for the uber-slut segment of the community either, but you really look like you're reaching for something to be offended by, here.

Does anyone else think that this might be part of the twist this year in that when a couple gets evicted, one of them may come back? Somehow, I think that is going to play into the season more than just this chance opportunity of having Sharon come back.

They entered the house last thursday. What we're seeing on the shows took place at the end of last week.
As for the kiss, it happened Wednesday night... so six days after they met. Also, he had spent almost every moment of those six days right next to Neil. They slept in the same bed.
Also, Chelsia is NOT a bitch. That would be Jen. Chelsia/James was actually Neal/Joshuah's best ally.
Jen is the one who said she had skin that was "ashy like a black person's" and who had sex with her boyfriend in the bathroom last night. She's the bitch.

If you think 2 guys kissing after almost a week is bad, you should have seen the live feed as one of the women actually went under the covers and did something to her room mate, that I'm pretty sure you shouldn't be doing after a week of knowing each other, and it definatly wasn't kissing.

This is the first time wwe have seen this show and we are very excited that there is a gay couple on here. If that is no longer the case then we will find something else to watch. They were SO cute together!
