  1. And, the GOP wants to stay there for 100 more years if necessary? This country is headed down a slippery slope to a second rate power thanks to Bush and his silly war, and, all the DC cronies who want to stay there forever for the oil and thier sick idea of democracy. But, since they are nothing less than Christian-Jihadist, that price tag is what the public gets for allowing the invasion.

  2. It's sad that it seems most of the country doesn't seem the least bit interested in the war or anything being done in their names.

There's more coverage of Britney going crazy than any of the severe mental problems our troops are dealing with when they return home for the Boy King's war of folly.

  4. As a Flyers fan in the 80s/90s, I always had the biggest crush on Ron Hextall.

  5. Andy, you really ought to try being somewhat objective when you cover the upcoming election. Your praise for Obama, and eagerness to post anything critical of Clinton has actually started drawing me away from your site. Could you mix it up a bit? It's not just that you're constantly praising Barack, and ignoring Hillary Clinton's victories and ability, you relish in posting anything negative about the Clinton campaign you can find. I think it's important to recognize that the Democratic party is blessed to have the wonderful options we have. Mr. Towle; there are ways to support Barack Obama without tearing apart his very capable, very intelligent, and very competent opponent.

  6. Once again, Andy, a negative Hillary spot. Michael Moore - a hero to many on the left is not voting for Hillary. Come on. You are really making me want to stop coming to the site.

Or at least say that you are supporting him so the negative Hillary attacks are not so clandestine appearing.

  9. Remember, kids, that's the amount of money for EVERY SINGLE DAY! It is sickening.

Imagine how the same total sum of many months could be invested into green energy and make this country totally free from the need of oil which would make the war in Iraq or the protection of "our" oil regions totally unnecessary.

Now, imagine 100 more years of Iraq "policing". Any vote for McCain is an attempt at slitting our own throats. This country is in some deep doo-doo if we let McCain become the next dictator - uh, I mean president. Preaching to the choir, I know.
