Can Someone Please Give Them a Napkin?

And now for something on the lighter side...

The folks behind the Grand Central Station freeze staged what's likely the most exciting thing ever to happen at the Baldwin Hills Mall Food Court. Still, some were annoyed.

  1. Hilarious! West Coast people got a little taste of musical comedy.

" the most singinest janitor I ever seen"

Now, call him "stepin' fetchit", FORREAL. Some people are just "real".

  5. While I thought the Grand Central freeze was a little too terroristy for my taste, this was adorable. Can they bring this to NY, cause theater ticket prices are much too high for me!

  7. Bravo! Reminds me a little bit of the strangeness in O'Hare last Tuesday nite when the (3) three young ladies at the McDonald's counter loudly seranaded all of us within earshot of Gates L1-7 on and off for several hours.

  11. That was better than anything in "Enchanted" - the Oscar goes to the Baldwin Hills Mall Food Court Combo.

  12. That is so much wittier and more entertaining than the stupid 'Freeze' idea.

  14. If you enjoy this kind of thing, check out Prangstgrup. They're like Improv Everywhere, but their stuff is generally much more entertaining (though, the older stuff is much better).

I highly recommend the lecture musical and the library musical.

  15. That was fun. It seemed weird how so many were "too cool" to just enjoy what was happening. Oh well.

  16. Loved it - but I understand the general suspicion of those in the audience. I live and work near Berklee College of Music, and I have little respect for people walking down the street and breaking into spontaneous arias or such - it reeks of needing attention. I'll admit to an eyeroll or two... yes, I'm jaded... but I enjoyed this from the comfort of my computer!
