What has happened to Colin Farrell?
The UK tab Daily Mail recently spotted a man they claim is Colin Farrell looking like a ghost of his former self:
"The emaciated 32-year-old was snapped during a night out in Spain at the weekend. It was impossible to miss his hollow cheeks, sunken chest and stick-thin legs as he puffed away on a cigarette. There was speculation that Farrell had shed weight because of the demands of the film he is currently shooting in the southern Spanish city of Alicante. He is starring alongside Spanish actress Paz Vega and British film veteran Christopher Lee in a thriller entitled Triage. It tells the story of a war photographer who loses his best friend during a harrowing assignment in war-torn Bosnia during the early 1990s."
Other recent shots show him looking thin but with some sort of belly.
Let's hope it's all for the movie role.

Look at that man meat in the before photo, gobble, gobble. I am thinking it is for the role, otherwise if he looked like that on purpose, he would not have the strength for a film. Unless he is filming the life of Amy Winehouse.

Oh give me a break, that is not Colin Farrell on the right. Certainly not if you compare it to the photos linked to of him in a striped shirt with a belly, or even the pics of him at the most recent Oscars.
If it WAS him, the only way he'd be able to get that thin so quickly is by drinking heroin and crystal meth milkshakes while RUNNING to work each day. Come on.
PS Haven't you whores seen the sex tape? He has a nice unit but I think it's been chipped by the CDC, if you know what i mean.

i volunteered at an AIDS hospice for a couple of years in the 90s. the guy on the right has wasting disease or is severely into meth. i hope it's not colin.

You know, there is a decidedly unhealty look about the person in that picture. It's mostly in the eyes.
IF it IS Colin, and he has indeed lost the weight for a role, then I would certainly question the ethics of all those involved in supporting what looks to be a rather dangerous commitment to the project.
And after spending 23 years in San Francisco, I know what the aftermath of a severe meth addiction looks like too.
I hope this is not the case.

Why does everyone automatically assume it's meth? I did meth for 2 years back in my hard-core party days (when I was in a soul-killing industry) and never looked that bad. You can do it and still take care of yourself and be fine if you're not dumb about it.
Maybe he's just dedicated to a very strict diet for a movie role like Christian Bale did for "The Machinist".

It doesn't look like the same person to me. But Chad, while it may have been possible for you to do meth on a sustainable basis, that's not the case for many people. I've never understood its appeal (I like to sleep), but it goes without saying that it's highly addictive and very hard on your body and brain.

Maybe he caught something while doing something sans condom.

Thanks for setting the record straight. The effects of hardcore meth use has many variables. But they are mostly devastating. And it could take between hours, days or months or years, depending upon the person who's using.
And more and more I'm convinced that whoever that is in the picture looks like they may be dealing a combination meth/crank abuse coupled with some sort of HIV issues.
And for the record, I'm not a doctor, so this is only my opinion based on my own life experiences and from working closely with MSM, case management and HIV outreach.

if that is Colin Farrell on the right, it would indeed seem to be the work of meth. if you were unfortunate enough to see that skeevie sex tape, it absolutely looked like absolute desperado PNP. and in recent interviews he has come across very much like a junkie.
a genuine shame, as he was hotter than hot.

Why does everyone who does meth party non-stop until they practically die? When I did it, I was responsible, made myself sleep (albeit by taking something), made myself eat, took tons of vitamins, and drank gallons of water. I didn't have unsafe sex, and was into mainly for the energy it gave me.
I didn't need to lose weight, so it didn't make me lose weight. I know it's an evil drug, but if you're smarter than than your ego and the need to self-destruct, you can overcome it. I wouldn't do it again, and am glad it's in the past, but actually some prescription meds are much worse (xanax).
