I always loved him. His humor was intelligent and thought provoking.

I don't know if this news makes me bleakly depressed and resigned to the failure of the human race, or gives me the strength to go forth and stick to the stupid fu(kers every chance I get. George's work was such a gift to us. Voltaire, Twain, Carlin.

Yes, THE QUEEN, I was also saddened when I heard of Cyd Charisse's death. She and Gene Kelly performed the most sensual dance sequence ever: the "Broadway Rhythm" sequence from "Singin' in the Rain". She was one of the last of the great Hollywood Musical Greats (is Ann Miller still alive?), and she was a Texas girl like Crawford....and a gorgeous fellow Piscean--like me and JIMMYBOYO.

No, MISS DERRICK, La Miller passed away some years ago... my favorite Cyd Charisse movie is the Bandwagon... i wonder who's left of the old MGM days? probably Mickey Rooney...

As a kid we use to be able to stay up late on Holidays or summers to see Carlin on the Tonight Show. Even as a kid I got that he saw things a different way.
One of my favorite quotes of his was about life. You have a choice he said, either you try to change the world, which was a freak show, and by that become part of the freak show. Or you sat back and watched it. I think he did both. Rest well Sir, you gave us much pleasure.
