  1. While I agree with his views on Palin, Andrew Sullivan comes off as such an obnoxious blowhard in this clip. For god's sake, let someone else talk and stop interrupting your fellow panelists; it's typically disrespectful of Sullivan. Being equally rabid towards the right doesn't get any message across; it only increases the rancor...

  2. Interesting... Maher says McCain is doing better w/ white woman than Obama, and Maddow says the exact opposite.

  3. Hypocrisy Bombshell: Antigay John McCain has a Gay Chief of Staff
    ------
What does John McCain’s loyal chief of staff – a man who apparently is in a long-term relationship with another man, and appears to be open about it to John McCain -- think about the fact that Sarah Palin devoutly worships at a church that promotes “converting” gays to heterosexuality? What, conversely, does she think of him? More importantly, what does John McCain think about all of this? And don’t we deserve some answers from the American media?

  4. I just gotta say I love Josh Groban. He is cute and sexy, and what an amazing voice, plus who knew he could do all those voices?

  5. Andrew was an obnoxious testosterone bomb the other night, but he's absolutely right about Palin. She is a joke and McCain picking her is a bigger joke, but her proximity to the presidency isn't amusing, no matter what a tamponed queen might say. I respect Sullivan's opinions, even tho I disagree with him much of the time; he might want to pop an Ativan before he goes on next time. Even unflappable Bill seemed alarmed by his behavior.

I've always found Josh a wee bit (or a lot) nauseating, but the medley was great fun.

  6. Josh Groban's genre of music may be saccharine, but he's cute, talented, and great sense of humour. Plus his Christmas album (which is excellent) was the biggest selling record in the U.S. last year. Plus he can do Cartman! WHat's not to love?

  7. had the pleasure of seeing josh groban at radio city a few years back--when he was 24... the performance was great, but it seemed that he wasn't quite comfortable with his own talent... this clip shows him much more at ease with his instrument and at home in his own skin. looking forward to hearing more from him.

  10. Andrew Sullivan really needs to adjust his meds, as the foaming at the mouth reflex he's been demonstrating has become more than annoying. He also displays a peculiar immaturity whereby he feels free to rip into conservative protestants but feels the paranoid anguish of tyranny whenever Bill Maher questions Catholicism. Does he really think evangelicals are all wild-eyed nut-cases? His blog may get more hits than G*d, but it's unreadable now.
