New Obama Ad Hits McCain on Economics, and His VP Choice

The ad uses McCain's own words (and judgment) against him.

Watch it, AFTER THE JUMP...

Growing evidence of a major rift between McCain-Palin in these final days, according to George Stephanopolous: "There is no question that there is a rift between Sarah Palin's camp and that of John McCain inside the Republican campaign, sources tell ABC News. And you are seeing people within the McCain campaign starting to look to the future. Not only Palin, but many of the McCain staffers, as well, are circulating their resumes and pointing the finger. Whenever people in the campaign are starting to worry more about their own reputations rather than whether they're going to win in seven days, there is a significant problem."

Check out the chemistry.

  8. its fantastic. it might be a bit high-brow for all of those murtha rednecks in Pennsylvania though. i mean, you have to be able to read (not just have the bible read to you in chuych).

  10. If they think that they need to go negative, they must also think the race is tightening. Hmmm...

  11. Anon

    You are a nit wit

Negative is NOT the exact words from your opponents own freaking mouth

Just like you were a nit wit in the SC thread claiming robocalls are protected speech when the supreme court hase never even ruled on a case about robo calls.

    Nit wittery and foolishness.

  12. There is no negativity in using McCain's own words in the ad. It's just a brilliant spot, and spotlight on McCain. The negative is all the made up and exaggerated crap that has been coming out of the McCain camp.

  13. I'm torn by this ad... Let me also preface by saying I'm a staunch Obama supporter.

    1. I think the ad's a little low. The first part regarding his inexperience with the economy is fair but how Palin was brought into it was a little too negative for my taste. I think I dislike it because it's quite shallow.

    2. It's beautifully done. The fact that there is little preface, and no quote or voiceover for the Palin wink is very affective and visually stunning.
