BBC Breathless Over Big Shark's Bountiful B.M.
You know, I try to keep the subject matter varied on the site. That said, here's breaking nature news from the BBC:
"It's as thick as your arm, smells revolting and now it's been caught on camera for what's thought to be the first time ever. What is it? Shark poo! Biologists were so excited about spotting the whale shark going to the loo, they even scooped the poop out of the water so they could keep it! But it's not as grim as it sounds - by testing the poo they can find out loads more about the giant creatures. Despite being the world's biggest fish, very little's known about whale sharks."
Said Dr. Mark Meekan, who called the turd "scientific gold": "It does seem rather weird, someone being so excited about seeing whale shark poo. And I'm pretty certain that this is the first time it has been filmed. But it is pretty rare - they are usually doing their business down in much deeper water."

What? You try to vary the subject matter on the site? How do you explain the constant barrage of prop 8 this and prop 8 that? aren't there any other newsworthy stories to cover? not all homosexuals are supportive of gay marriage. perhaps you could try diversifying the posts a bit.

Ben, was that you coming out of the whale's ass? Prop 8 is about so much more than marriage, its about equal rights for all humans, and this fight is so important. I guess you like being discriminated against. On second thought, maybe you're lower than whale shit.

So much more than marriage? No, it reads pretty clearly that it's all about marriage.
Why want marriage anyways? It has no sanctity anymore, it was originally just a tool for acquiring property, and if civil unions are offered with all the same rights and privileges as marriage, as Pres. Elect Obama supports, why worry so much about semantics? Let the straights have marriage and let the homos revel in civil unions.
And the petty name calling (whale shit remarks, etc.), juvenile as it may be, only highlights the exclusivity of the gay 'community' towards alternative viewpoints. So much for tolerance being the cornerstone of the 'community'.

Well the good news Ben is that we are each entitled to our opinions.
I do agree that a perfected CU without the name is acceptable to me, but many of our brethren want the name too. Its the whole separate but equal thing. I'd give up the name to get the rights. Oh, and I've been married, it's not all its cracked up to be.
But I honestly think that Prop 8 is so much more than marriage.
And finally, yes I can be juvenile, but I don't think it's cause I'm gay. I just like a good joke, didn't mean to really offend, just relieve some of the pressure. My boxer briefs are really in a twist over this issue.
