Everyone Thankful for Sarah Palin This Year

Turkey

Conservative group Our Country Deserves Better released an amusingly-timed turkey day video about how thankful they are for Sarah Palin just days after Palin's now well-publicized pardon/slaughter showcase video of what Benjamin Franklin wanted as our national bird.

In the video, the group thanks Palin for her "passionate, hopeful, and articulate advocacy of common sense conservative values."

No doubt most Democrats are thanking her for exactly the same things.

What were those ingredients again for the moose chili?

Watch both clips, AFTER THE JUMP...

  3. Hilarious and scary both at the same time. I'm surprised these folks knew how to even work the camera. Aren't they scared the "devil box" would steal their souls?

  5. I still can't quite believe that this is really serious! It keeps reminding me of the Kids in the Hall skits, "Thirty Helens agree":

  7. The turkey video looks and sounds like her blah, blah, blah campaign rhetoric. Can she really be that stupid to give an interview like that? Unbelievable. The OurCountryPac video is a scream. Through the video I kept wondering what was put in the actor's drinking water. It could be the new Stepford.

  8. Much like her candidacy itself, this is like an SNL sketch with no punchline.

  9. I saw the guy who chairs this PAC on MSNBC this morning. At first I thought it was a joke, a satire. Then I realized it was serious! They are trying to raise thousands of dollars to run these ads on major networks nationwide. A friend said that FauxNews might let them air the ads for free on Thanksgiving Day (it figures).

  10. Some people like brussel sprouts, I happen to think they're vile. Whatever; they can eat them, I'll choose not to.

Conservatives, however, are never happy--see Proposition 8--unless they can decide that EVERYONE is going eat brussel sprouts (insert metaphor of your choice here), because "that's the way it should be."

  11. Sweet Irony. The Political Action Committee making these ads has the perfect name. Sarah Palin should be associated with the same tag-line "Our Country Deserves Better".
