Has anyone suggested a protest campaign of everyone sending, like, a pair of tennis balls to Harry Reid? Or maybe to all the Senate Dems? Y'know, like, "grow a pair, bitches!"

Joe Lieberman is a traitorous little weasel.
He follows the grand tradition of Quisling, Petain, Mosely and Edward VIII as a traitor who hoped to be in the good graces of the new conquerors.
Pathetic.
I can only assume they have told him to sit back, shut and vote the way he is told until it's time to run for re-election, at which point he is to take a gun, go in a room and politely, blow his own head off.
Metaphorically, of course.

OMG I remember that sesame street video. Wowsers that was a flashback. And for a minute I thought the Packer's bear was Yuri from Bear Force One, which excited me more than it should have.

joe lieberman should have been kicked out on his traitorous ass. i would have paid money to see lieberman try to run as a repug in Connecticut. he represents the perfect stereotypical, slimy jew who will do anything and say anything as it behooves him.

As much as I think Lieberman deserved to lose his chairmanship, I think Reid made a smart move. "Keep your friends close and your enemies closer." I'm sure that some promises were extracted from Lieberman and he didn't got off scot-free outside the limelight.
I think Derek's right. He's been told to shut up and do what he is told.

I despise Lieberman, but by "stereotypical, slimy Jew," do you mean that he's debasing Jews by conforming to the stereotype, or that Jews are all craven handmaidens of power? Because I'd have a problem with the latter statement.
That having been said, I support the tennis balls initiative suggested above.

the former, my friend. of course, the former. i have a long-standing, abiding respect for jews. please don't confuse my disgust with lieberman as an idictment of jews as a people.
i am thinking of him in the "shylock" sense -- the extracting-a-pound-of-flesh sense. how does an honorable person go from being a standard bearer for the democratic party to disparaging the president-elect and working against the election of democratic senators? there are some things i simply cannot wrap my mind around.
