    Actually it’s a bit scary. This isn’t something that’s generally found in nature and could be a sign of the effects of toxicity of the environment.

    But gays are found in nature. They are usually minorities, but there are many species that have same gender sexual interactions between at least some of their members.

    Some cool stuff on chimerism posted here. It’s actually come up in one or two legal cases involving DNA evidence. Really uncommon in people though, and this “right down the middle” chimerism in the cardinal is exceptional and beautiful.

    The other neat thing is that all the other cardinals aren’t stoning it to death.
