Report: Gay Italian Man to Become Nun Following Sex Change
Italian news agency ANSA is reporting on a gay man who plans to have a sex change and become a nun:
"The man, whose name has not been revealed, lives in a small town near Rome but intends to leave his job in May and travel to a country in Northern Europe to undergo the operation. 'I talked about my wish with a priest but I was misunderstood. A conversation with a bishop was even worse,' the man told the Italian news agency. Meanwhile, a spokesman for CasaPound, a social justice organization, Massimo Carletti said, 'All men and women should be equal and have equal opportunities. He is determined to [achieve his dream] and we will help him,' Carletti said."

I don't think this person's transgender. I think this person's willing to undergo gender reassignment surgery to become a nun. Unfortunately, there are gay men who undergo gender reassignment surgery because they think it will be easier to live their lives as a woman than a gay man--not because they are trans. Not such a good choice.

If the penis isn't attached to an alter boy, I don't think the pope cares too much. Hell, it's not even gonna be attached at all from the sound of it. He'll probably chalk it up to a botched circumcision and let the nuns raise her as one of their own.

The article doesn`t say ``she`` is transgendered,`` it says, that ``he`` is gay. Unless the headline is erroneous, it would seem to indicate he is very confused and repressed and has likely become so full of self loathing that he is resorting to drastic measures to make himself fit with church expectations. I wonder whether doctors would comply in such a case.

This news is a hoax. CasaPound is not a "social justice organization", it is a radical neo-fascist movement. The name of the nun-to-be was P.D. (The Italian Democratic Party). I was actually very surprised when I read about CasaPound supporting LGBT issues that I had to check, and their website is freaking scary...

You are all wrong. True Transgendered people are born more female in their makeup, meaning in their chromosomes: *(any of the rod-shaped or threadlike DNA-containing structures of cellular organisms that are located in the nucleus of eukaryotes, are usually ring-shaped in prokaryotes (as bacteria), and contain all or most of the genes of the organism)... *(It's really all science) All people, men and women begin the first stages of life as female. Many things can and do go wrong from that point on. Transgendered are not gay at all, but are often labelled as such by the public due to non educated, sometimes very ignorant, uninformed people not knowing the true facts. This becomes a problem when you add religion, especially islam or catholic belief, which were both written by "MAN", by the way and then the prejudices of people. It's not easy for anyone who is not, quote "NORMAL", end of quote, to live in any society that wants to kill inocent people, or shun them, to make their own selves feel more powerful or less ashamed of their own shortcomings and flaws. Look around you, in the world today. What "is" normal? Hatred, coruption, prejudism, murder, muslims hanging gays and stoning women for just trying to live "normal", people like the ones here who commented and gave us all a look at just how wonderful and tolerant people realy are - NOT! Becoming a nun? Well, after surgery, one can NOT be a priest, so there's no other option and it's not in the Bible that anyone having had a sex change or having had a correction in sexual status can not worship God in a devout manner. After all, all nuns do, for the most part, is help others and spend time reading and much of their time in prayer. Is that so wrong?
