Bachelor Lance Bass Leaves Lustful Lady in the Lurch
Rather than depict Lance Bass romancing a swarthy potential mate for its "Hottest Bachelors" issue to match his heterosexual counterparts, People opts for the "just not interested" depiction.

That's some pretty blatant heterosexism, that is. I have no problem with the picture in and of itself: it's a cute photo. But it does frustrate me that, even as the mainstream media finally begins to acknowledge the existence of gay people, so often they can't help depicting us and our relationship potential in purely hetero terms.

Whoever fitted him for those breeches should be shot. The crotch is about three inches too low. Yes, we notice these things.
