Kathy Griffin's My Life on the D List returning tonight at 10 pm: "Since 'D-List' premiered in 2005, Griffin’s career has moved in a different direction. So she thought her show should, too. 'It’s kind of silly to make the show about what it was four years
ago, which was I can’t get a job, I’m going to go do stand-up at gay
rodeo,' she said. 'It’s a very different place than I was in four years ago.' So this season, Griffin visits, among others, Lily Tomlin, Paula

UK Catholic mother launches legal battle after son is placed with gay foster parents. Catholic church says adoption rights for gays amount to child abuse.

  1. JohnnyP says

If I had any doubt left that Seacrest was gay that picture wiped it clean away.

  2. carl says

“Catholic church says adoption rights for gays amount to child abuse.”

Ah yes, the Catholic Church, the preeminent authority on child sexual abuse.

  3. Noah says

Andy, is reporting that two of three anti-gay marriage Democratic NY state senators have defected, giving the NY GOP control of the NY state senate.

Unfortunately, this is what the NY state Dems feared.

Is it just me or is Christopher Fawcett scary looking? Are noses like that found in nature?

  5. Michael @ says

58% of even “CONSERVATIVES,” 58% of REPUBLICANS, AND 60% of those who go to church weekly now support gays in the military.

Please tell me again why President Obama has NOT kept his campaign promise to even begin to try to get DADT repealed. And why he isn’t using his Congressionally mandated powers to freeze discharges in the name of national security when the majority of the public would clearly tell any Right Wing Congressional dinosaur to STFU?

  6. says

MICHAEL: I think Obama has been told that the Xian Taliban that now controls the US Air Force will rebel if he suspends DADT. That’s why he’s gone back to the saying he needs to support unit cohesion—it may actually be true now that suspending DADT will harm unit cohesion.

I also suspect he’s looking for a way out of this mess without the mistakes of Clinton.

  7. jimmyboyo says

    David R

From the reports I have read about the xtianista infiltration of the Air force, I suspect you are right.

I’m not sure about the other branches but the Air force is now basically a military force for radical jeebus worshipers

  8. rovex says

Is that it Apple?? Wow what a load of crap. They are going to get slammed by the 1Ghz winmo/android devices out this year.

  9. Michael @ says

David R., I’m really sorry to hear you repeating the disingenuous PROPAGANDA Talking Point that Obama Inc. began to spread even before he took office.

Obama is making exactly the SAME mistakes that Clinton did:

    1. Refusing to issue an Executive Order, tho in Obama’s case it would just be to stop discharges until repeal. [Clinton DID halt discharges while the Pentagon “working group” was SUPPOSED to be putting together a plan to gay-integrate the military; and ordered recruiters to stop asking potential enlistees if they were gay which was incorporated in the statute Congress concocted.]

    2. Allowing the opposition to gather strength [in 1993 it was during a 6-month “cooling off period”].

    3. CAVING to opposition from homohaters in the Pentagon.

Despite all the contradictory claims from different admin peeps about what is or is not going on behind the curtain, his National Security Advisor, James Jones, the former commandant for the Marines, has taken credit for convincing Obama to postpone doing anything about DADT.

Jones comes from a long line of defenders of the bigotted status quo. One of his predecessors in the Marines was the lead signer of the infamous “1000+ officers opposing repeal” letter released a couple of months ago.

Another of his predecessors was…wait for it…commandant of the Marines before ordered the services racially integrated. Major General Thomas Holcomb said, “If it were a question of having a Marine Corps of 5000 whites or 250,000 Negroes I would rather have the whites.”

Jones and Robert “Push It Down the Road” Gates are bosom buddies with McShame and Gen. Peter “Gays Are Immoral” Pace and Gen. Rectum “Being Gay Is A Choice” Powell.

Despite his insistence during the campaign that when push came to shove with the Pentagon re Iraq he’d remind them who was boss, they’ve converted our fierce advocate into a foil for their Troglodytic homophobia.

Added to the stonewalling at the Pentagon, his administration’s defense to the Supreme Court that “don’t ask, don’t tell” is “rationally related to the government’s legitimate interest in military discipline and cohesion” has allied with the generals to encourage the continued stonewalling in Congress…with us outside the walls.

    Pentagon? Nein.
    Congress? Nein.
    Supremes? Nein.
    President? Nein.

I guess that leaves us praying for a miracle. Would someone please get me Donnie McClurkin’s or Rick Warren’s number?
