Shot of Testosterone: Mickey Rourke Tattoos Sylvester Stallone

Former movie wrestler has designs on former movie boxer in the forthcoming film The Expendables.

First Showing writes: "Rourke is the 'arms dealer and part-time tattooist' named Tool who is
inking Barney Ross, the character Stallone plays, with the skull and
raven tattoo seen on the poster. So he's an arm dealer, that must mean we might see more of him when he arms up everyone at other times in the movie."

  1. Bob West says

I remember a story on Mickey Rourke, I think it was NY magazine, he had an attractive young male “assistant” who did errands for him. When Rourke went to buy clothes for himself he had his assistant model the clothes for him, before making the purchase. The interviewer commented on how close they where. Rourke’s NY pad in Architectural Digest looked like Louis the XIV’s crib, one of the most elaborate apartments ever featured, not that there’s anything wrong with that.
I guess he’s created a new image. He’s always been macho and effete at the same time.

  2. says

Rourke has made some bad decisions in his personnel life, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that he’s a damn good actor.

Go back and re-watch his first film, Bodyheat and you’ll see him steal every scene he appeared in.
