Yes because politicizing a sex act will stop HIV. I have been listening to preaching/lecturing from both the pious and the hypocritical about safe sex for almost 30 years. I cant say its helped much.

  3. Thanks for the Shakesville link on HRC. They make a great point in the media's selective use of photographs.

Twice in one week - the other being that supposed Obama butt stare, which when the video its taken from shows he's actually helping a woman down the stairs, while Sarkozy is really the sleazy one.

  4. Er... I definitely agree it's somewhat offensive to hear "You're so gay" and such on online games (in fact, that's, like, the ONLY insult I hear), but... the only way that they're going to ever stop it is to help society itself change and realize it's not a good thing to say. Trying to change the games themselves won't help at all.

Re: The Electronic Arts panel - I agree that there's not much the game developers themselves can do.
However; EA seem to in control of all manner of good franchises these days (Sims, The Old Republic & Free Realms for instance), so anything that makes them more likely to include further gay-friendly content and 'wallpaper' can only be good for my gaming.
