When Crocodiles Attack
Brazilian designers Fernando and Humberto Campana are collaborating with Lacoste to create a range of limited-edition shirts using mutations of the well-known crocodile logo. This one uses only the crocodile logo.

a very sharp idea!
...too bad Lacoste jumped shark (or in this case croc) 5 years ago already.
no-one with any barometer would sport Lacoste these days, that label is dead in the water.

As an unrepentant Prep, I love this. I can have a cool, limited edition shirt and laugh at myself at the same time. Where are they for sale?

People said Lacoste was dead 20 years ago. It manages to reemerge, especially in Europe and Latin America. I don't care about the label, but I love that shirt---though I suspect it is far beyond my price range...

I totally love this. Would def wear it. Airy summery and detailed.
Can you imagine the slight reveal under a jacket?

Is it bad that I really really want this? Water-bill be damned!

the idea is awesome but it looks like it would be sooo uncomfortable to wear!

Pekemo, I assume it's lined.

Lacoste has never jumped the Croc. It is one of the few classics. I like this a lot, but, considering that Lacoste shirts start at 65$ , I'm sure this one is way out of my price range. Luckily, I usually cam find slightly used ones at my local Buffalo Exchange or at Crossroads in L.A..
Btw, thanks for a fashion piece that's not about Bruno!

Looks too uncomfortable to wear.

forget the shirt, how cute are the Campana brothers.

I thought it was leaf-patterned at first. It looks good from a distance, but knowing that it's a "status" logo over and over is kind of a turn off. It's almost as skeevy as the RL Polos with the oversized logo. I'm not Persian and it's not 1994, so I have to pass on this stuff.

The perfect shirts for Log Cabin fundraisers!

The Campano Brothers are amazing. They do stuffed animal chairs in a similar vain to this shirt, though I'd rather have one of those (at around 2-4 grand) than this uncomfortable looking piece up here (most likely going for too much...).
One of the stuffed chairs is in fact made of crocodiles, but I prefer the panda chair.

Whoops, sorry SHOEPINS. Should've read the whole set of comments. Oh well.

I'm surprised anybody over 18 actually looks at labels. I mean, I just don't have the time to look at something that petty. You either like the clothing or hate it. Furthermore, I think it's kind of douchey to wear labels on the OUTSIDE of clothing. I mean, who gives a fuck what name your shirt says when it's made in the Phillipines or Bangladesh like everything else?

Looks like lace to me. I have a bunch of the Lacoste shirts from France that i got years ago, still wear them and they look better with age. They're probably better made too.

This shirt was announced months ago. When I contacted Lacoste about where it would be for sale, they said that they wouldn't know until late October or early November. They suggested checking the web site or stores then.
Yeah, cool shirt. Worth a couple of bucks for a good laugh.
