  1. At first I thought that was a really, really tiny polar bear. I had been wondering if you'd come across any animal sightings. I love these posts. Any news about the proud penguin papas?

  2. "UK farmer unleashes pigs to deter gay men from cruising in his woods."

But aren't a lot of those guys LOOKING for pigs?

    (Sorry, couldn't resist).

  3. I felt like a child when I laughed at Andy using the word "titties" in this post. However, the word felt very appropriate for Kim and her embarrassing attempts to get press.

    Beef gravy no doubt.

  6. Having been raised in Laguna, I can say that in all honesty, it is not an unfriendly beach. Certainly, there are cliques, which one would find on any beach, anywhere, but the folks on the beach are typically very friendly. There is still one gay bar in town, Main Street Bar, and Mark's as reopenned on Broadway/Laguna Canyon Drive, near the sawdust festival. It's a nice town, sadly not as gay as it once was, but then gays have been moving out of gay epicenters all over the country, and branching out more. Laguna, though I no longer live there, is still a nice place, and West Street remains lovely.

  7. What a shame. All that gravy covering that unspeakably hot man, and not a biscuit in sight. You can bet this southern boy would be all over that like white on rice, sopping up every little bit.

  8. Actually, a correction: The gay resort is in St. Petersburg, not Tampa.

  9. Thanks for all the Maine updates!
It's crazy that the Yes on 1 people are specifically seeking "caucasian" actors.

  10. The beach article was a bit silly. All of those are fine places to go, but it's hard to characterize them as a "scene." It may be Southern California, but never go expecting, say, Sitges or Rehoboth Beach.

  11. oh god. i just bet those reality shows will have annoying and bitchy lesbians. just what we need.

  12. I think the "Angels in America" revival is a great idea. Among other things, the gay-versus-Mormon theme may resonate more acutely now than it did in the early 90's.

  15. If you haven't seen Angels on stage, PLAN TO SEE IT IN NY. I'll take the trip from Seattle to be there. The play is a landmark.

  18. As a Black Chubster (always fighting the urge for gravy, but, I digress) I have to say that I have never in my 20+ yrs of going to West St in Laguna felt snubbed even though the most incredible looking men on earth go there. And if you have never been to Laguna, GO!
