  2. If she was really LOOKING BACK she should be able to see that the Gay Community was a huge part of her success on her early career. Her silence during Prop 8 is inexcusable particularly when she was touring around the US and made more than 250 million dollars ...How many gay guys pay to see her latest concert? At the San Diego Concert people had NO On Prop 8 right on her face and she didn't say a word. I hope she looks back and finally sees that this is a community that supported her 100%.

  3. Jake,
You've beat that Madonna/Prop 8 thing so hard, it's now dating Chris Brown. Give it up, girl.

  4. That RS cover was shot by Herb Ritts. Beautiful. I miss him.

  5. Jake needs his hand held through life. It's not his fault, his mama raised him wrong.

  6. While I don't think she ever referenced Prop 8 directly, she did mention gay marriage on her last tour... and it should be fairly obvious at this point whose side she's on. Amazing Ritts cover too!

  8. @Jake

I attended Madonna's concert in Oakland, California last year and she totally DID give a shout out about gay marriage and mentioned that she thinks everyone should have a right to marry!

  9. I hate when people demand pop stars solve their problems.

  12. The Oakland Concert was after November 4th- She mention something about Prop 8 after the fact! I don't think that Jake should give it up! and I think he was raised by his mother to stand up for what's right and wrong. Madonna is not longer a friend of our community and the silly gay guys supporting her music are in need of a reality check. Thanks Jake for telling it like it is! Your Momma should be very PROUD!

  13. Really Justin? What are the top 10 artists played in your iTunes folder right now? Go check and get back to us. We'll be right here waiting.

I can't wait to see how each one of them contributed to defeating Prop 8.

  14. Jake:

babygurl, sounds like you need your clit licked

  15. Justin, the only person in need of a reality check is you. I'm fairly certain Madonna has donated a large amount of her time and money to her Malawi charity. I guess you and Jake aren't happy unless the charity is you. Get over yourself. Stand up for YOURSELF. Stop looking to celebrities to hold your hand and fight your battles. It's incredibly lame.

  16. I love Madonna so much. It's like she's been mybig sister my whole life albeit an extraordinarily famous totally abstract big sister.

I wish she were more vocal about gay rights these days but, hey, she's done plenty over the years. Give her a break.

    can't wait to read this.
