  1. So beautiful! Thanks for posting this Andy.

  2. I've said this before, but the kind of "hurt" that the Haitians are experiencing is not the kind that "everybody" feels. This is a ballad for depressed 90's teens, not an anthem for people whose entire nation has been obliterated, with a hundred thousand dead, and corpses rotting in the streets... Please Simon, have some common sense.

  3. I hear the Haitians are having a benefit to get Mariah off this record.

Just kidding, lambs. Please no death threats. Please.

  6. All I can think of is the parody of this song. Everybody Mertz, Fred and Ethel Mertz....

  7. As intimidating troops by calling the “FAGGOT!!!!” is a central part of training removing “Don’t Ask Don't Tell” will surely destroy our military as the presence of actual acknowledged gays will make such intimidation impossible.

  8. I'm confused. Susan Boyle called somebody a faggot?

  11. I know they're trying to help & it's great it will hopefully go to helping the less fortunate but somehow it just seems doesn't seem appropriate. We Are The World even more so.Yikes.

  13. Had to laugh when Mariah came in with her typical falsetto which is nothing but hot air. And she just intersperses it with her normal voice in the WEIRDEST ways.

James Blunt sounding like Tina Turner = HAHAHA.

  14. Oh, God, I am listening. Simon Cowell has ZERO taste. ZERO. He's even aping the original arrangement from Automatic for the People. BLASPHEMY.

  15. I also hate the moaning of ( I am guessing) Leona Lewis in the beginning and I hate that bullshit in general. Just sing the lyrics and emote those. Gosh, the benefit song just makes me mad.

  17. God, I get so tired of reading bitchy and hateful comments on here. Is there anything that can make some of you happy? Can't some of you just appreciate that someone else is trying to do something good in the world – or is that problem? If a charity song doesn't meet your obviously too stringent taste in music, do your own damn song the way you think it should be done and save your hate and bitching for something that really matters. The people who put this kind of effort into a project like this have HUGE fan bases, and their inclusion is designed to reach that many more people to raise aid money, and to help teach us all about the importance of our humanitarian abilities. Just because it doesn't meet with your particular music taste at every level doesn't make it shit. Save your .99 cents if you don't like it, but more importantly save your snitty and snarky comments so that maybe one person at a time you can personally limit the freefall of hatred and ugly being spewed into the world. It’s not funny to be bitchy and critical all the time. Try kindness or just zipping up for once.

  20. "Bitchy" must be the default setting for folks here. Far too late to hope for something better. Way to live up to the haters' stereotypes.
