Watch: A Visit to the World's Only Sloth Orphanage

Where one of the seven deadly sins, sloth, is actually encouraged.

Meet the sloths from Amphibian Avenger on Vimeo.

The videographer writes: "I filmed this at the Aviaros del Caribe sloth sanctuary in Costa Rica - the world's only sloth orphanage. Baby 2 and 3 toed sloths, whose mother's have either been run over or zapped by power lines, are brought to the centre to be cared for by sloth whisperer Judy Arroyo."

  2. Fantastically cute! Thank you for posting this, Andy. I'm feeling kind of done with humans lately--think I'm going to head down to Costa Rica and hang out with the sloths.

  9. I volunteered here while living in Costa Rica during college.. Judy and Luis Arroyo are amazing in terms of what they do for Sloths and other injured animals in the Carribean region. If anyone is In Cr you can stop by for a tour, make a donation or stay at their bed and breakfast. Its definitely something you wont forget!
