Long Island Man Kills Infant Boy for Acting Like a Girl
This is sick and heartbreaking.
A Long Island man fatally beat a 17-month-old infant he was babysitting because the child was acting like a girl, and not like a boy.
"The suspect has been identified as Pedro Jones, 20, of South Hampton. He has been charged with first-degree manslaughter after allegedly hitting the boy 'several times throughout his body with close fists' and grabbed him by the neck, according to the felony complaint filed by police. Authorities say Jones also told them, 'I was trying to make him act like a boy instead of a little girl. I never struck that kid that hard before.' The infant, Roy A. Jones, was reportedly found in cardiac arrest and was rushed to Southampton Hospital where he died around 8:30 p.m."

I see no reason this sub-human creature should ever walk free again. It's creeps like this that make it difficult to argue against a death penalty. The fitting punishment would be to beat him to death with closed fists.

I am literally sickened by this.
JT's right: This death should be laid at the feet of the institutionalized homophobia pushed 24-7 by American society-- in particular in the churches.
Of course, the most rabid Fundamentalists will say that this punk did the little toddler a favor; they will say that it would have been worse for the little boy to become effeminate-- and worst of all if he became gay or transgendered.
If there WERE a God, wouldn't She have struck these horrible, hateful Christianists DEAD already? The fact She hasn't proves Her non-existence. Yet stupid people continue killing in Her name-- and, of course, in the name of JAY-sus!!

I think about all the levels of violence that this man needs to endure in his life, should it be quick or slow? But all I can say is, an eye for an eye.. a life for a life. This unbelievable horror is reality. I will not repeat things said in the comments, but I think some questions should be asked in order to find a way to understand how such things can happen, and they do. What can be done reduce the probability of such behaviour (death penalty and jail obviously doesn't)? What happened to this man? How can a person get to this kind of utterly vile behaviour and personal decisions? What are the elements of the cultural, national, familial, biographical an actual context facilitating such crimes?

How many times has this child been this creeps punching bag? And if it isn't the first time... where the hell was the other "Grown-ups?"
I come from 3 generations of abused females in our clan... and that's just who I know of... there is NO EXCUSE for any "adult" to allow another to beat on a child.
