Photo: Danielle, Earl, and Fiona Whirl in Atlantic

A new satellite shot from NASA shows Danielle (top, now a tropical depression), Hurricane Earl (bottom left, a powerful category 4 storm) and Tropical Storm Fiona forming a triad in the Atlantic Ocean. Earl presents an immediate threat to the East Coast.

Below, the latest forecast track, which for the past few updates has come continuously closer to the coast.

Anyone know if a 747 flies over a hurricane? Or can we just like go the other way?
