  1. I wouldn't want my kid to learn about ANY type of intercourse in 5th grade! Too young - they haven't even gone thru puberty yet! If a kid asks (at home) at that age the parents can choose how to handle it. High school is a different story ....I do, however, believe that kids should learn young (K+) that "some boys love other boys" etc. Children understand love but sex of any kind is inappropriate at that age

  3. The "What's wrong with this picture" link is incorrect, I think... because it just links to the same story as above.

  4. "What's wrong with this picture"
It's on the insufferable Pink is the New Blog and as ever, for no reason, has had stupid pink stars photoshopped onto it. And that 2 as well. It really doesn't look good, and ruins every single image and any informative value it previously had.

I've been waiting for an opportunity to complain about PitNB for weeks...

  6. My monthly gay agenda newsletter mentioned that anti-bullying programs were a great idea put forward by us gays. I'm glad those gay hating parents know where the credit is due!

  7. Anti-bullying should be taught as a civil rights and legal lesson and not a sexual education lesson. Force, verbal or physical is just plain WRONG. Informing children there are consequences for their actions and enforcing them with penalties will get the points across. Though, yes, I agree, enlightenment and tolerance with the TRUTH always is a good idea. But, here, stopping the culprits dead in their tracks is faster with the strong arm of not tolerating intolerance.
