Where were the movies depicting gay and bisexual men in realistic and sexual/romantic relationships? I can’t recall any in the last 5 years since Brokeback Mountain came out. There has basically been nothing. Hollywood appears to be increasingly hostile to the concept of male homosexuality.

I know a lot of you will disagree with me but the facts speak for themselves. Aside from some small art-house movies, gay and bisexual male presence is as rare as hen’s teeth in the big releases.

Not only does Hollywood avoid us in terms of making movies about our lives, it also avoids us in terms of integrating us into the mainstream. We are persona non grata in Hollywood’s eyes.

Was the gay co-founder of Facebook written out of reality for the Social Network. Thoughts so. So yawn.

Happy The Kids Are All Right won for Best Comedy/Musical Film. Not sure why it won in that category because it moved me to tears a few times. Annette Bening is Natalie Portman’s main competition for Best Actress at the Oscars & could pull an upset.

@Rodney: I thought the same thing.

Also do not understand how the Kids Are All Right is considered a comedy.
