Rapper Soulja Boy Says Homophobic Comments on His Facebook Page Were Left by Hackers
Rapper Soulja Boy says a series of homophobic messages accusing commenters on his Facebook page of being "white faggots" were the work of a hacker. The messages have since been deleted.
Soulja Boy tells TMZ:
"I wanted to clear the air and let everyone know that my Facebook got hacked....I had administrators on my account that no longer work with me. The hackers used these old accounts to post hateful messages. This was not done by me or anyone on my team and I'm upset that I am being labeled as a racist and homophobic person."

He's the only page owner. So until he can prove otherwise, apology not accepted. 'My account got hacked' is the new 'I've got a headache'.

Can somebody point me to recent examples of Facebook accounts ACTUALLY being hacked?

It sounds like maybe he's saying he had some of his posse handle his FB account for him at one point, but then he disassociated from them. (Though technically they wouldnt be hackers, but disgruntled employees) Celebs have more "handlers" and minions than they can keep track of and often give them very personal info. I dont know if his claim is true, but its entirely possible.

I don't know who he is but I have the feeling he's telling the truth

I am split on this... yes, he could be playing the "I was hacked card," but FB fan pages do allow for more than one administrator. (Full disclosure: I know this because I am one of those "handlers" for a celeb on FB; however I always disclose when I post something as not to confuse the fans from the authentic celeb postings.)

So remove the damn posts, you moron. How often do you look at your FB page anyway?
Seems like a Republican-inspired excuse to me.

well, whether he posted it or not, at least its finally becoming clear to most everyone that using homophobic slurs is not acceptable.

Rob, really? You obviously haven't heard of Tyler the Creator. He's huge. The New York Times raved about him, Jimmy Fallon loves him, and his debut record is from the people who bring us Sigur Ros and Radiohead.
Here's a sample from the truck-stop toilet that is his Twitter feed:
"Just Walked Into Abercrombie With My Sister Cause She Wants A Shirt. It Smells Like Faggot In Here."
Hear that? It's a massive "Who cares?" from everybody else in the world.

Were his posts written pre-Tracy Morgan-gate? If so, what convenient timing for this retraction!
Also, who hacked his brain when he was writing his silly lyrics?

I'm not homophobic. I have gay friends...blah, blah, blah...........

The number of "likes" by his supposed hacked comments is an eye opener.

Liar.
Were the 2,500 "likes" also hackers?
Bunch of racist homophobic bigots.

Best friend's FB was hacked a couple of days ago. I'm giving him a pass on this one.
