Anti-Gay Racist Heads Bronx Catholic School

Borzellieri This is unsettling: the principal at Our Lady of Mount Carmel, a Bronx Catholic school with students who are predominantly black and Latino, is a white supremacist -- and a homophobe.

From the New York Daily News:

Frank Borzellieri, 48, was quietly promoted to principal of Our Lady of Mount Carmel School two years ago - despite a history of controversial writings and campaigns, including a push to ban a biography on the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.

In 2004, Borzellieri wrote the book "Don't Take It Personally: Race, Immigration, Crime and Other Heresies," in which he declares "diversity is a weakness" and says the rising black and Hispanic populations in America will lead to the "New Dark Age."
...
Borzellieri, who unsuccessfully ran for state Assembly in 1994 and City Council in 1997, previously made headlines as a school board member in District 24 in Queens, where he lives.

During his board tenure, from 1993 to 2002, he tried to:

Ban literature he labeled "anti-American" from school libraries. His targets included books on different races and culture, and a biography of King.

Remove an openly gay teacher and gay-rights activist from the classroom at Public School 199 in Sunnyside, and ban school employees from making any references to homosexuality.

The school's pastor, Reverend Eric Rapaglia, told the paper that while he doesn't agree with all of Borzellieri's politics, he believes "much of it valuable and logical and reasonable," and added: "A lot of his ideas would actually benefit minorities."

Um... How?

  1. here's one minority member who is distinctly unimpressed with the alleged benefits cited by this team of haters. So, sorry, I can't help but take it personally--this looks to be a vile action, by a vile bureaucracy.

  2. The Catholic hierarchy isn't known for the most sensible decisions. The taxpayer's dime is supporting this filth indirectly rather than directly by way of tax breaks for church property. Yet another reason to end tax breaks for religious institutions.

  3. Hey whatdo you expect? They're Catholics -- members of a pedophile cult.

  4. Looks like a real fag basher, got a bat n everything! "A lot of his ideas would benefit minorities." Hmm.. I wonder if minorities would see it that way....

  5. What do we do with a cabal like the Vatican: a 1000-year old, tiny cult of completely unaccountable, completely irresponsible, arrogant, unbelievably sexist, racist and homophobic predominately white European men who hold trillions of dollars of wealth in currency, land, and artifacts; the rank and militaristic protections of sovereignty as a country; enormous satellite power over financial and material holdings in other countries across the world; and control over 1000s of people who work in money-making yet tax exempt institutions all over the world?

How do you get rid of a world-sanctioned, ruthless, mind-controlling parasite like this?

How do you end the hatred, illogic, greed, superstitiousness, arrogance, violence (yes, unmitigated violence and abuse) of this literal cabal of men and their cronies all over the world?

If any other group of men had so much power and were so awful, would not someone, anyone have tried to end their power by any means?

Please, can someone answer these questions?

  6. Given his name, sounds like his family may (or may not have) been in this country "without papers."

  7. How do we get rid of these parasites?

Ban then nationwide. Kick their asses out of America and send them back to Rome without a penny in their pocket.

Its been done before; and Brittain is all the better for it.

    Ban them.

  8. another example of hate being spread by the catholic church. the principal is probably pro pedophile. the church wonders why people attack them. they just get their head out of their a--

  9. Designation of the vatican as a terrorist organization would be a good start - their assaults - and systemic coverup - of children terrorize young people all over the world. Support of terrorists is illegal - build some more prisons. Arrest the terrorist leaders before you send in the drones.

  10. Honestly, this is a perfect example of power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

  11. @Roger Ramjet: Great name, btw. I agree. We truly need to ban organizations like this. Unfortunately, here in America we don't roll like European in terms of banning racist or violent organizations. The KKK still exists, after all. We could try them for abetting violence against children. That seems better.

@Hue-Man: Or, yes, we could designate them as a terrorist organization and under the new draconian rules we could hunt them down, close out their financial accounts, and even worse, just like they did Osama bin Laden. I think, in fact, treating the Vatican like a terrorist organization is spot-on.

  12. They should check the kids every day for signs of trauma.

BTW this shows how far the church of the endless hidden molestation of children will go to poison minds.

And its all ok re RATZInger - a right wing extremist who also wants to undo vatican II, which partially lifted the blame for Jesus death from the Jews.

Of course he was born in 1928 and grew up in nazi germany. the lessons of ones youth are the most intractable.

Also a couple bishops in ohio told their people to not contrib to the Komen cancer prgm because stem cells "might be used".

Taken to its logical conclusion, thats a call for banning all medical research.

This is the battle of the bulge for the church. BTW where did fascism originate - in Italy, and Machieavelli was italian.

Expect more insanity - eg back a yr or 2 ago RATZInger told Africans that "condoms cause aids."

IN a continent with 23 million infected.
He isnt the vicar of christ - he is the vicar of satan.

  13. HOw to get rid of the vatican.............

Pray that god will open up Vesuvius II right under it.

Rome is built on seven hills and a fault line runs quite close, not very far east

If there was a god, well it would have happend\ed long ago.

When you have a wounded lion - eg 6 countries in latin america = 4 with marriage 2 with CUs and chile may be next.

the church is all but dead in W. Europe and even in europe austria, hungary and Chech have CUs. Even in Poland, now free, more then half the people there are per polls favorable to supporting gay families.

And of course canada, nepal, Israel, RSA, Au Nz wiht cu's / marriage.

The vatican is like an unlocked big house featured in the movie (1978) One flew over the cuckoos nest.

    BTW go look at WWW.NOBELIEFS.COM/NAZIS.HTM

About 80 pix tell the story of the vatican in WWII

  14. As a guy that was raised Catholic, I can tell you how full of it and backwards the religion is. Nuns that can hit you for anything (luckily never happened to me, but my mom used to tell me horror stories). Also more strict catholic church's will not hold a service for someone that is crematted. When I was told that i.said my goodbyes to the catholic church and as of today religion as a whole. Its just a way for the people with more power to make sure they can keep the moronic masses in check. I 100% believe in spirituality and maybe there is a higher power maybe not. But if there is one it in no way would it codone(sp) what religion has become.

  15. perfect. A racist with a bad and "don't take it personally." Sounds like a story from the Onion. Yup, those Roman cahtolics definitely know who to put in positions of power.

  16. sorry--meant that to read, "A racist with a BAT..."

Which also brings me to say I'd bet the bat in his britches ain't big.

  21. It's not clear what qualifies him as a full white supremacist. That is a strong claim to make, as it infers the separation of the races, denial of common law rights to minorities and other anti-egalitarian efforts. It's not quite the same thing as being a racist.

  22. Hey Frank, don't take it personally, your haircut fell out of a 1980's gay porn.

  23. The kids at that school must surely call him Mister Bozo. I predict, given his views, that he will likely be on the receiving end of his own bat one day in the hallways.

  24. Parents are still sending their children to that school? What is wrong with them? I blame the parents for not taking responsibility for the employees in that school. If they want to send their children to a school run by a white supremacist, I would rather not have those parents and their kids in public schools.
