Anti-bullying advocate and rugby player Ben Cohen was on hand to sign his 2012 beefcake calendar at the London sex shop Prowler this week and more than a few folks turned up to show their support.

i hope people are nice to him and don't get too flirty and handsey... cuz i for one have very impure thoughts when i see even just pics of him. i guess its good that i'm nowhere near london.

I got to meet him a few weeks ago when he was at my company for a speech about Stand Up, and got a picture with him later that night at a fundraiser. Up close, in person, with that accent... Most of the gay men in the room were giggling like little girls. (me included)

Well, he does appear in a sex-shop, doesn't he?
This is not about being a so-called "ally" any more. It is about straight athletes making a buck out of gays lusting over them for being "unattainable". Cohen, Youngquest, Beckham, Ronaldo, they're all strutting their stuff in gay mags and sexually suggestive ads and making good money out of gay-xploitation.
Although admittedly there isn't a single american athlete confident enough in his metrosexuality to do the the same.

Met him a couple weeks ago in Beaverton at a speakers' panel--he was representing his Stand Up foundation, and the others were gay professionals talking about their experiences. I got several pics and afterwards met him, got a handshake, and a signature on last year's calendar. He's HUGE (back/shoulders/arms)--but he called me "big guy." :) Lovely man, great cause. Give him your support.
