Uganda Anti-Homosexuality Bill Headed to Floor of Parliament: VIDEO

Uganda's anti-homosexuality bill is set for debate in Parliament this week, according to Ugandan news broadcasts.

Writes Jim Burroway at Box Turtle Bulletin:

There are reports that several lawmakers in Parliament are aggressively pushing for the bill’s passage as part of broader anger over the American and British announcements making nations’ protections of LGBT rights a component of foreign policy.

  1. Well that's a really smart move. "Let's try to lose all our foreign aid, or get in bed with China or Russia!" What are these countries thinking? It's like Egypt's move against the NGOs yesterday. Cripes.

  2. They pass the bill, cut off all aid. It's that simple.

  3. The Abomi-Nations must follow their dismal paths until they evolve. This is why world peace is a silly white-liberal's pipe dream and juvinile chant. All kinds of people want war, have war and hatred in their hearts and veins and, of course, get what they want. Western supremacy, for all its faults, is a fact of life because it should be. On this planet there is no alternative. While perfection is not possible the road towards it is the only road worth taking.

  5. I love the photo -- it reminds me of the public forum scene from Beneath the Planet of the Apes.
