Not that it matters much, but The Moscow Times reports: “The law stipulates a 5,000 ruble ($170) fine for individual violators, a 50,000 ruble fine for officials and up to 500,000 rubles from legal entities that break the law.”

Glad we went to Russia in 08. I wouldn’t go there now.

Interesting choice of music, I love “Swan Lake”. The Kirov Ballet (based in St. Petersburg) is coming here to Los Angeles in June to do a full production of “Swan Lake”, I can’t wait.

I’ll remind the Atlantis cruise folks that their scheduled overnight stop in St. Petersburg on July 18th with 3,500 gay men wanting to spends $$$$$$ might just skip the latest of the homophobic countries. No respect=no $$$$.

And this is the country that is trying to improve their tourist industry?? Talk about being idiotic, everyone has money to spend no matter their sexuality. You’ve just lost yourself lots of potential tourists and therefore lots of money. I agree with a previous comment: no respect= no money
