Here's The Opening Scene of Sacha Baron Cohen's 'The Dictator:' VIDEO

Hoping to build more interest and controversy ahead of its May 16th opening, Sacha Baron Cohen today released the opening scene of his latest flick, The Dictator.

Among the things we learn about Cohen's latest character from this video's journalist narrator is that the Dictator, Admiral General Aladeen, was born with a full beard, and then some, created his own Olympic games and changed a over 300 words in his language to "Aladeen," including "positive" and "negative" which caused endless headaches and head-scratching and will certainly create some outrage.

  8. I think Sascha Baron Cohen is a dud. I don't find anything he has been involved in amusing. As far as I can tell, the only thing that he is really good at is self promotion.

  9. Thanks Northoftheborder for deciding on everyone's behalf that this movie is only for stupid people, you must be an AWESOME boyfriend. I guess I'm stupid because I thought it was funny and I'm proud! Proud to be stupid!!

  12. I love his work. I guess that since this is the opening scene, rather than a trailer, there is hope that it might be as good as Borat or Bruno. As for my possible compatriot's comments, I'd have to say if these were the funniest bits of the film, I'd agree with him/her and would be worried about the quality of the movie. As for calling him "another" sanctimonious Canadian ... sounds like someone who can't hear the pot calling him names. No need to get so personal; just give your thoughts on the movie. Sheesh!

  13. His humor is compelling –and dark- because he's always so close to reality. So many tyrants and backward people around the world, how not to make fun of them. Although it's creepy too.

  14. Borat is very good filming of you American peoples. Bruno stank like goat's ass after droppings of many poop.

  15. At least this looks somewhat original unlike American Pie #8 and Hang Over #2, etc.
