  1. How gay was that? Some of those outfits could be worn today!

  2. Finally. I was wondering what I would wear in the Hamptons this summer.

  3. Brave New World, indeed.

  4. Gay gay gay gay GAY! Love it.

  5. Where was this being held...someone's spare closet?

All I can say is: I'm thankful to be living in 2012! LOL

  6. I especially liked the second outfit, with the guy's ass cheeks hanging out. Never thought I'd see anything gayer than the clothing in "International Male" catalogs.

  7. Gay gay gay in every sense of the word - but why is the space so small? I love the reaction of the dog?!

  8. You can see those same outfits in an Undergear catalogue.

  9. Other than the swimsuits everything else look like it was designed for (not by) Austin Scarlett. And that may have been the gayest thing I've ever written.

  10. I love the two guys in the audience at the very beginning still of the video. One has his eyes riveted to the model's crotch. The other is looking up into his eyes with a "take me, here, now" look.

    It's priceless.

  11. I didn't realize they used to actually hold fashion shows inside walk-in closets...

    Posted by: BobN | May 15, 2012 7:07:52 PM

  12. The riveted guy has his arms folded low over his lap to conceal something...

  13. Don't believe it for a second but bring back thrift, I'd pay, you can still get string vests on the high street

  14. Oh brother I'm thinking, this is embarrassing. I don't know why, maybe because they're coming out of a closet in 1950.

  15. The one with the model wearing the Battersea shirt, and the guy checking the fabric, reminded me of my mum's stories of a creepy teacher they had who used to do the same thing with girls skirts, while saying: "That's a lovely piece of material."

  16. I would wear the third outfit. That holds up, imo.

  17. WOW! High waist much?

  18. A studded belt in 1951? Cool - very forward looking.

  19. I really need to clean my closet and revisit some of these outfits. It's amazing they still fit after all these years.

  20. These outfits are very revealing!
