Watch Madonna Breakdown While Channeling Marlene Deitrich And Singing 'Like A Virgin:' VIDEO

MadonnaMD

Madonna's MDNA tour stopped in Berlin last week and the material girl used the opportunity to channel one of the German city's most famous residents, Marlene Deitrich.

Watch as Madge sings "Like a Virgin" with Deitrich's famous intonation and, for some unknown reason, breaking down in tears while doing so - AFTER THE JUMP, of course.

  4. Pathetic ! This woman will do anything for FREE publicity ! How pathetic that she has never grown up & still NEEDS this amount of attention.

  7. Maybe she's just upset because she can't remember when she actually was a virgin. I've had days like that.

  8. 1) She's been doing a Deitrich version of Life a Virgin for more than a decade - since the Girly show tour. 2) The tears are part of the number... obviously. 3) A lot of you suck... in the bad way.

  9. Her name is Marlene Dietrich, not 'Deitrich'. I should know, that's my own last name.

  10. Awful. I'll see the show within a month and I wouldn't like to see anything like that.

  13. Why gays can be so hurtful? I wonder if maybe they do deserve all the prosecution and violence against them these days...

  14. Did she break down because her last album flopped and became her worst selling album of all time?

  15. I imagine a lot of the hate is coming from the same people who bash on Adam Lambert yet I find it convenient this ridiculous "Frank Ocean" character part of a train wreck band of ghetto childishish thugs part of the Tyler the creator gang of school kid drop outs gets celebrated on here by some for having "talent"

If you don't know which types of people are behind the bashing of some on here while praising others, pay attention carefully and it will be very obvious.

  16. Sorry I don't see the Homage, it looks like a train wreck to me but the audience liked it, whatever

I"ll take the real thing myself, sorry Madge

  17. Madonna has always been a very theatrical performer and why not channel one of the great female icons of the 20th century...

  18. Our Lady of the Hydrangeas has had her day, it is time for her to retire; she is of no cultural relevance. This "performance" is simply underwhelming.

  20. That LAV performance is superb but it has got nothing to with Dietrich. Seriously, people. Learn your Dietrich and learn your Madonna before making such statements.

Much love to you all. Peace.
