Ah if we could only selectively apply the First Amendment and the anti-discrimination laws, then we would never have to do any of the hard work of understanding anyone who is different. Like listening to what they have to say.

Al Jazeera English has the most detailed international news coverage. I've never seen it as cowtowing to any political viewpoint. By contrast, Current tv never had a brand that meant anything to me.

al jazerra english is mostly former BBC people thus why it is one of the best international news sources out there

The amazing thing is how Al was able to up the sale price of his essentially worthless asset. His cache as VEEP and caped crusader (probably not the best ad hominem in this context, but I'll go with it) was probably what sealed the deal. That, or he's an amazing salesman.
