Senator John McCain has had this lashing from Jon Stewart over his Hagel hypocrisy coming to him for months, and last night he finally got it.

  1. These repugs are a pretty despicable bunch! John Mc Cain was never the same ever since GWB and Rove pulled the dirty tricks during the primaries. He really needs to go..

  2. I agree with what MYMY said. I tell friends that there really are good Republicans, you can find them in cemeteries and mausoleums throughout the country.

  3. Snap! So good! John McCain should just go away, and take his boyfriend Lindsey Graham with him!

  4. Post the Lindsi Graham segment too!! It is wonderful, with Jon sending him up as a fluttery Tennessee Williams character.

  5. Thank you so much, Towleroad moderators, for not censoring Jon Stewart's characterization of John McCain. Yes, McCain is indeed "c*nty first." My only request, Towleroad moderators, is that you drop your double standard in regards to censoring slurs, whereby "f*g" is just fine but Jon Stewart's description of McCain (or a commenter's description of, for instance, Ann Coulter) must be censored. Please think about your double standard and the message it sends. Civility in public discourse is a two-way street, whether you realize it or not.

  7. John McCain is just a senile old bitter bastard!

  8. I believe the Republicans are forcing Graham out in front, using his secret to keep him in line. Lindsey so wants to be a Senator.

McCain...time to take he remote control away from cranky old Grandpa. He only wants to watch bowling and calls you unAmerican if you don't like what he likes.

  10. Once againl, the "fake news" by Jon Stewart & Stephen Colbert, provides a much more clear and true perspective on events than the "real news" networks.

  11. Poor McCain.

sorry, bub, you'll always be the man who thought Sarah Palin would be a GREAT Vice President.

  13. So...we've got juvenile and senile saying puerile things about someone of their own political persuasion because they don't like that black man in their White House. And the GOP wonders why it's falling apart. It's sickening.

  14. In my opinion as a clinician, McCain has symptoms probably related to his probably never adequately treated PTSD suffered during and since his Vietnam experience. From what the public have been allowed to see and hear, those would include a Thought Disorder, Mood Disorder and Poor Impulse Control. And those are just the parts we can see. God knows what his family have lived with all these years.

  15. Sounds right on to me, Danny, and you only need to do a Google search to get a sense of some of what's gone down behind closed doors between McShame and Cindy over the years. Not a well kept secret.
