Oh, Andrea Williams — yes, she’s a bigot from way back, and just plain flat out hates gays and lesbians. Flat out hates, hates, hates, ’em, though she will turn circles to avoid using direct words like that. She’s also opposed to equality for women in the church too!! She’s a real piece of work.

I have a question for Andrea Williams: If “traditional marriage” is so fragile and shaky that it can be destroyed simply by the existence of two people being an a loving committed marriage of equality, is it really worth preserving? I mean, if traditional marriage such a horrific drag that people will flee from it at the merest mention of other options, doesn’t that say something about its general viability?

@FENSOX, those bats are actually known as flying foxes in Oz if you want to look them up; different genus to the ugly ones. They’re vegetarian, friendly even as wild adults soon as they figure you’re not eating them, and generally thought to be pro-equality. Not such great pets though.

Andrea Williams is not the UK answer to Maggie Gallagher.

Gallagher has – however horrible – a voice, whereas Williams is a complete nonentity.

Frankly, I’d never heard of her until you posted this.
