FYI, There was a Marathon outside Copenhagen as well today (In Lyngby), and before running, Neil Diamond’s “Sweet Caroline” was played, while runners and spectators sang along.

Denmark also stands with Boston, and indeed America.

As the whistle blew, runners either had their sunglasses on or they had their eyes closed, bowed in honor. Thank you marathoners of London, thank you marathoners of Denmark, for your support of athletes and of your fellow man.

I live close to Boston, and I have been so touched at the outpouring of support by people all over the world. Thank you so much for your kind gestures. They mean so much to us here in the USA.

It’s interesting that this article only drew seven comments. Seven!

Yet anything to do with Bieber, or for that matter, Reece Witherspoon, will provide voluminous response.

Maybe the two should be mixed: a celebrity AND a marathon, with the celebrity (gasp!) injured.

    Get your priorities sorted out.

That was touching. And shows that in crisis, good will always prevail and can unite the world.
