Man Wants Ryan/Romney Tattoo Removed: VIDEO

Remember back in November when we predicted regret?

It has happened:

An Indiana man who tattooed the logo of Mitt Romney's presidential campaign on his face says he is removing it. Eric Hartsburg says he initially planned to keep it, but cites post-election comments by Romney for his change of heart.

  1. You may be able to remove the tattoo but the stupidity is there to stay.

  2. cue the "but he's HOT" commments, in 1, 2, 3...

  3. He got 15 grand to do this--how much to remove it? What an idiot.

Did he want a cabinet appointment for doing this, and that's why he's a little bitter that the Romney campaign didn't call? He obviously is one of those "low-information voters". NOCD--not our class, darling. Ever hear of that? I thought not.

  4. He sold the tattoo space for 15,000.00. Only the Romney/Ryan campaign would have had the desperation to show that they were "hip" and "with it" by giving a guy a face tattoo that he now regrets.

And I love the scrunchie, real fashion statement.

  6. Not a big deal. He also has a tattoo on the left side of his face.

  8. Nothing says young professional like a neck tattoo.

  9. This isn't really news. The Daily Mail reported on November 29 2012 that Hartsburg was starting laser treatments for the removal of the tattoo and even had photos of the process.

  12. It can have other meanings, Rolls Royce, Reading Railroad or Roy Rogers.

  13. Dumbazz. There's no candidate that would ever convince me to do something so stupid. I don't care who he/she is.

  14. Not at all surprised that he lives in Michigan City Indiana.

  18. "but he's hot"?? Not remotely, in my view at least.

  19. He sites POST election comments from Romney as the reason he wants to remove it?

That's funny, everybody else figured out Romney enough not to vote for him from his PRE-election comments. Guess this guy is just a bit slow....which would make sense.

  20. If he thinks there is a problem with Romney ignoring him now, imagine if he had won.

And this guy is more evidence as to why I left that town and live in Portland now. A much more tolerable type of crazy here.

  21. Eric, that was a stupid thing to do. But, we all occasionally do stupid things. Hopefully they can completely remove the Tat.

    Posted by: andrew | Jul 16, 2013 3:20:21 PM

  22. Nocd indeed. The Romney Ryan folk never intended to show this guy any more respect than they show the pseudo-slave-laborers in their locked Chinese factories. This guy deserves every single penny of the $15k he got for this. And the right to have it gone from his skull now. As well as the right to see the past error of his ways.

    Posted by: Just_a_guy | Jul 16, 2013 4:31:45 PM

  23. If I had a spare $15K, I'd offer it to him for tattoo removal, as long as he'd get an irreversible vasectomy. People that stupid shouldn't reproduce.

  24. WOW...Rockin a Pink scrunchie too! Lol

  25. And so another RWNJ and their ability to flip-flop on issues.
