I didn’t see a foundation or any cinder-block or concrete above a slab. Was it lego construction.?

Where have you ever seen this in American residential construction for the past 25 years? Houses here are built like crap. I once lived in an almost new townhouse in the suburbs of Baltimore where there was no true firewall of any kind between the units. Just a 12″ void to act as a sound barrier. All the units had to have fire sprinklers to keep the whole thing from going up in smoke if a fire started in one unit. Most first world countries don’t permit such cost cutting. This video is hilarious. Tells you everything you need to know about the quality of new home construction here, which is why, in spite of the hassles of owning an older house, I’m glad I bought one.
