Thousands Gather in Stockholm to Sing in Support of the LGBT People in Russia: VIDEO


As part of Sweden's "Live and Let Love" campaign, 2,000 people gathered in Stockholm to show their support for Russian LGBTs by singing the national anthem of Russia surrounded by lots and lots of gay 'propaganda'.

  4. I'm curious as to how all these Swedes even know the Russian National Anthem, is this something they learn in school? Because Russia is the closest threat? Or are they Russian immigrants or first generation Swedes? Touching though…

  5. Tinkerbelle, from the way it is set up, it seems like it was choreographed by a group, so the participants would have likely been taught the anthem in preparation for the video.

  13. Russia actually listens to the Swedes, and the Fins, they are not Slavs but they are successful northern European peoples that have a large cultural impact in Russia. There are lots of expat Russians in Sweden.
