Pomplamoose's James Brown Cover Will Make You Say, 'I Feel Good' - VIDEO

The real-life couple of Jack Conte and Nataly Dawn, also known as the musical duo Pomplamoose, have just released their cover of James Brown’s song “I Got You (I Feel Good).” It’s a nice, lighter version that sounds more romantic and chill than the original; perfect for seducing that special someone.

Oh and the video was also filmed with multiple cameras in one take with all the sound cues activated in the studio, no dubbing — it’s quite lovely.

Watch the video AFTER THE JUMP…

  1. Technically it's been done very well - kudos to them for that. But it still can't compare to the original, explosive, James Brown version. The original version of anything, a song, a television show, a movie (note to Hollywood - STOP doing so many remakes!), is almost always superior.

  2. Who teaches these hipster women to sing like this? Is there a class somewhere? Sheesh.

  4. I find it exciting to see young people appreciating things that came before them.

  5. I like it but it pales in comparison. Maybe it's a question of rhythm but I find the Brown version more seductive.

  6. I really like their version of Earth, Wind and Fire's "September". Check out that video on Youtube.
