  8. Horrible. This part should have gone to a gay actor. Our culture and history are being raped for profit!

  9. @ "VICTORIA": you're in luck. The "Only Gays Should Play Gays Hat for Cretins" is one-size-fits-all.

  10. They make a very convincing gay couple- their love scene in the movie is an instant classic.

  11. Utter nonsense, Victoria.

Let's say you're straight, and THE NORMAL HEART dealt with a straight couple, with the man played by Matt Bomer.

Would you then say, "This part should have gone to a straight actor. Our culture and history are being raped for profit!"

  12. I can't stop thinking about the televised production of THE NORMAL HEART. It has really stayed with me. Isn't that what good art does?

  13. That's HBO for ya. When I saw And The Band Played On nearly 20 years ago, I couldn't stop watching it. It was so affecting. Same with Angels in America recently.
