Morrissey's Bodyguard Files Suit Against Musician, Claims He Was Asked To 'Hurt' Fan

MorrisseyAccording to a new report, it may not be so fun to work for Morrissey (or be his biggest fan). The British superstar's bodyguard, Bradley Steyn, has filed a lawsuit against him, claiming that he was tasked not only with keeping Morrissey safe but also with hurting a fan. Steyn claims he was fired when he refused.

TMZ reports:

According to Steyn ... Morrissey hated the guy who ran one of his fan websites -- -- which he felt invaded his personal life. Steyn claims in the suit Morrissey asked if there was a way the fan "could get hurt."

Steyn claims right in front of Morrissey ... the tour manager asked if the fan "could be gotten rid of." Then they discussed how to get the fan's home address.

  1. It's always a red flag when someone fights for animals to be spared from the food chain but ignores the rights of vegetables, legumes, tubers, et cetera.

  3. Emerson, he's more of a UK celebrity. He used to be the lead singer of The Smiths (perhaps this rings a bell if you like alt rock or have ever associated with hipsters) and has had a long, successful solo career in the UK as well. He's crazy though.

  5. It sounds crazy enough that it might just be true. A lot of animal rights activists have little respect for humans.

  12. I hope the allegation about Moz is untrue. I'd like to think it's out of character. But in my experience, sadly, animal rights activists can be among the most sociopathic and inhumane people, ever. Too many stalkers and thugs in their lot. It seems so at odds with the ostensible compassion of their passion.
