Panel Packed for 'Gay Infiltration' of CPAC While NOM Panel Attracts Sparse Crowd: PHOTOS, VIDEO

Two Instagram photos from Buzzfeed's Chris Geidner reveal that the only gay event at the 2013 CPAC conference - "A Rainbow on the Right: Growing the Coalition, Bringing Tolerance Out of the Closet" attracted lots of interest while Cleta Mitchell, Hans von Spakovsky, Ben Shapiro & Brian Brown's NOM panel (below)was left a bit wanting for interest.

As you may know, gay groups GOProud and Log Cabin Republicans were barred from the conference but found a way in via this panel, organized by the Competitive Enterprise Institute.

The Daily Beast has a report on the gay panel:

The event was hotly anticipated—and overly crowded—as the Competitive Enterprise Institute, a libertarian think tank actually invited to the Conservative Political Action Conference, circumnavigated the snub by hosting its own panel on same-sex marriage and asked GOProud co-founder and executive director Jimmy LaSalvia and others to speak.

“A new conservative coalition starts here in this room. Will you join us? Will you stand up to forces of intolerance?” LaSalvia implored the crowd. “Join us in building a better coalition that can win and use it in making America better.”

The message projected by LaSalvia and, echoed by his fellow panelists, was that government intervention in how people live is not the conservative way.

Meanwhile, AFA spokeshater Bryan Fischer welcomed Cliff Kincaid, the director of the 'Accuracy In Media Center' to his radio show for a hilarious segment about the gay "infilitration" of the conference.

AFA's Bryan Fischer: Gay Football Player Will Cause 'Grenade-Like Explosion' in the NFL - VIDEO

American Family Association spokeshater Bryan Fischer makes yet another bad prediction, Right Wing Watch reports:

First, Fischer said that the NFL shouldn’t sign gay players because they would cause a “grenade-like explosion” that would destroy the team. He said that the repeal of Don’t Ask Don’t Tell is doing such damage to the military, even though all the reports so far show that the new policy has had zero negative impacts.

Anti-Gay Megachurch Pastor Spurned by Tim Tebow Speaks Out: VIDEO

Dr. Robert Jeffress, the megachurch pastor spurned by Tim Tebow, pushes the lie that gays are more likely to molest children. Meanwhile, AFA spokeshater Bryan Fischer says that Tebow is the latest victim of the "bigoted bullies at Big Gay."

And though Jeffress, has said that Tebow has expressed to him that he will come once the controversy blows over, that may not happen after all:

According to Jeffress, after hanging up after their “very affable conversation,” Tebow texted the pastor to say that he was “going to reconsider his decision to cancel and would be in contact with me further today. He wanted to talk to me further about it, which I said, ‘Great.’”

However, Jeffress was being interviewed on the radio Thursday when Tebow started tweeting a series of statements that contradicted that: “due to new information that has been brought to my attention, I have decided to cancel my…” “upcoming appearance. I will continue to use the platform God has blessed me with to bring Faith, Hope and Love to all those needing a brighter day.”

Just as Twitter was lighting up with the word that Tebow was taking a knee, Jeffress said the quarterback sent him another text message, telling the pastor that “some advisers around him had counseled him that he needed to go ahead and not come and he was going to stick with that decision.”

Rand Paul: 'I Don't Understand' Gay Marriage - VIDEO

Senator Rand Paul called into AFA hate group leader Bryan Fischer's radio show yesterday to talk about a variety of topics, but, given Fischer's obsession with gays, it eventually swung around to that, Raw Story reports:

“I believe in traditional marriage,” he said during an interview with Bryan Fischer of the American Family Association. “I really don’t understand any other kind of marriage. Between a man and a woman is what I believe in, and I just don’t think it is good for us to change the definition of that.”

Paul noted that his state, Kentucky, had approved a constitutional amendment to prohibit same-sex marriage. He said he was “not sure” about DOMA, but warned the federal law could result in conservatives losing “the battle for the whole country.”

Paul said marriage rights should be decided state-by-state rather than nationally so that “urban centers” couldn’t dictate the law.

Bryan Fischer Calls Boy Scouts 'Suicidal' for Accepting Gays, Warns of Pedophiles 'Bunking Down with Your Kid': VIDEO

American Family Association hate group leader Bryan Fischer is going ballistic over the news that the Boy Scouts of America might drop its policy against gay scouts and scout leaders, claiming that "male homosexuals offend against children at roughly 10 times the rate at which heterosexuals offend" and warns that it's an open invitation to pedophiles.

Shrieks Fischer: "From this day forward, there is not one loving father in America that ever, ever, EVER oughta entrust his son to the Boy Scouts of America."
