Jim Parsons on His Hollywood Walk of Fame Star and Coming Face to Face With His Wax Statue: VIDEO

Parsons

The Big Bang Theory's Jim Parsons sat down with Ellen this week to talk about his latest career highlights: getting immortalized on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and in Madame Tussauds’ Wax Museum. During the ensuing discussion, Ellen revealed that, shockingly, she's never had a wax statue done of herself...and Parsons wants to do something to fix that.

In a separate clip, Ellen unveiled her special early birthday present for Parsons, who is lending his voice to the new animated film Home and will play God in the upcoming Broadway play An Act of God.

Madonna, Justin Bieber and Ellen Play 'Never Have I Ever' - VIDEO

Ellen

The week long Madonna-thon on Ellen continues. Yesterday, the Queen of Pop played a rousing round of "Never Have I Ever" with the talk show host and special guest Justin Bieber who was brought in just for the occasion. But before they got down to business, the trio made sure to talk about dating and age. Ellen noted that Madonna on Monday said the youngest guy she has dated within the last 6 years was 22. Bieber just recently turned 21. Said Madonna when shown a picture of Justin posing shirtless, "that looks 22."

'Empire' Star Jussie Smollett Comes Out to Ellen: 'There's Never Been a Closet' - VIDEO

Smollet

After weeks of not commenting on the subject matter, 31-year-old Empire actor Jussie Smollett has publicly addressed his sexuality in an interview with Ellen DeGeneres.

Smollet, whose Empire character Jamal Lyons recently sang his way out of the closet, declined to address his personal life in the talk show portion of his interview with Ellen but arranged a follow up chat backstage to make it clear his reluctance to bring up the issue shouldn't be construed as living a closeted life.

Said Smollet:

EmpireIt was really important to me to make sure that it got across that there is no closet. There’s never been a closet that I’ve been in. I don’t own a closet, I got a dresser, but I don’t have a closet. But I have a home and that is my responsibility to protect that home. So that’s why I choose not to talk bout my personal life. But there is without a doubt, no closet that I’ve ever been in, and I just wanted to make that clear, but it was most important for me to make that clear to you on your show at this time in the world. And that’s where I’m at...
