Ellen Meets Dad and Gay Twins Who Came Out in Emotional Viral YouTube Clip: VIDEO

Last week popular YouTube vloggers Austin and Aaron Rhodes posted a video they shot of themselves coming out to their father shortly after coming out to their 56,000 subscribers.

TwinsThe emotional video quickly went viral and has been viewed more than 14.5 million times as of this posting.

Ellen DeGeneres this week welcomed Aaron, Austin and their dad to her show. After hearing the twins' story, Ellen spoke with dad, who told his side of the story:

"When they called I knew they were crying and something was wrong. As a father you just feel it. What's wrong? I could hear it coming from them, their voices. When they told me, I just felt as though, the only thing  came through me was 'I love you both. I love you both unconditionally. You're my children. I can't undo being your father and I don't want to...' I really feel like now there's a weight off both our sides. Now I feel like we can talk about anything. I was very proud of my boys."

Ellen praised his reaction:

"That is the right thing to say ... 'I love you both'. Even if you don't fully understand it right now there are ways to understand it and time will help with that...I can't tell you how amazing it is for you to just love them and accept them."

Ellen also gave the twins a special gift to help them get settled in L.A..

Take A Sneak Peek at Ellen DeGeneres' New Gay-Themed Sitcom 'One Big Happy': VIDEO

Screen Shot 2015-01-20 at 4.49.11 PM

Late last week, NBC released a new teaser for the forthcoming sitcom One Big Happy from producer Ellen DeGeneres.

Coming in March, the show tells the story of a straight man (Nick Zano) and gay woman (Elisha Cuthbert) — they're best friends who decide to have a baby together. The catch? Just when Cuthbert's character has gotten pregnant, Zano's character finds a serious girlfriend. Think Gaybybut in sitcom form, and with principal characters' sexes reversed.

Below is the preview, featuring DeGeneres. In the video, she says: "You will love it, and I'll tell you why: there's a lesbian in it." Check it out AFTER THE JUMP...

Anti-gay Pastor Pens Follow-Up Letter to Ellen DeGeneres After Getting Hilariously Called Out On Her Show

Larry Tomczak, the anti-gay Christian pastor whose op-ed railing against Ellen DeGeneres' so-called efforts to push "lesbianism" onto young girls was lampooned on Ellen's show earlier this week, has written an open letter response to the talk show host over at The Christian Post

After a ham-handed introduction letting Ellen know that he was "stunned and humbled" by his on-screen mention and that he writes to her "not as an angry, mean-spirited "fundamentalist" but rather in a spirit of humility as a would-be friend," Tomczak gets back on the anti-gay crazy train. He writes that Ellen, being a childless lesbian, "may not understand the awesome responsibility it is to shape impressionable and vulnerable children" and that he was merely stating the "truth" when he put quotation marks around the word "marriage" when referring to Ellen and Portia de Rossi's union.

Tomczak continues:

EllenEllen, a nation rises or falls on marriage. If we dismantle this pillar of society, as it has existed for over 5000 years of Western civilization and redefine it to accommodate other arrangements such as yours (or those advocating for polyamorous, polygamous or other configurations) what will be the consequences for this sacred institution and the future of our nation?

The true Christian Church must stand as a "sign of contradiction" amidst ever-changing cultural trends. With kindness and courage we must remain faithful to the truth, whether it is popular or not. We must honor a higher law than man, just as Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. expressed in his classic, "Letter from a Birmingham Jail" and is magnificently portrayed in the film "Selma."

In his song "Mercy," Bono stated that love is "charity and brings with it a clarity." So let me close by submitting to you with charity and clarity that marriage is and throughout history has always been the union of a man and a woman, regardless of what the courts say and regardless of how much you and Portia feel affection for each other. Here are just five of many reasons why gay "marriage" is morally wrong and cannot be called a righteous, authentic marital union.

  1. It violates the clear and unambiguous moral teaching of the Scriptures, which serve as the basis for our Judeo Christian laws and foundations as a nation.
  2. It is contradictory to the self-evident truths of "Mother Nature" or "Nature's God" (as our Founding Fathers expressed it) wherein men and women are designed and function differently, complement and complete each other, and through the wonder of marital union are able to procreate to perpetuate the human race.
  3. It is contrary to the explicit teaching of every major world religion, which upholds the integrity of marriage and family.
  4. It is an injustice and unequivocally harmful arrangement wherein our most precious entrustment, our children, are denied the love and nurture of a father and a mother who complement each other in a healthy family.
  5. It redefines and devalues the sacred institution of marriage exclusively between a man and a woman, opens the floodgates for other arrangements and legitimizes a lifestyle replete with dangerous, at-risk sexual behavior such as HIV/AIDS and over 30 STDs that are endangering lives, jeopardizing healthcare and impacting our economy.

Tomczak then goes on to lump homosexuality with pedophilia and bestiality before thanking Ellen for "opening up this door of communication and for hearing my perspective." He signs his letter "with warm regards" just to prove that he's not such a big bad bigot after all. Now can he please have a ticket to the Ellen show? Please? Pretty, pretty please?

Ellen Celebrates Her Lesbianism And Pushes Her 'Gay Agenda' In Response To Anti-Gay Pastor: VIDEO

Funny lady Ellen DeGeneres took pause yesterday to address an anti-gay pastor who has accused her of pushing a gay agenda on the world. The pastor in question is Larry Tomczak, who previously claimed that gays and lesbians were being punished by God by being made effeminate and mannish. Tomczak this time time has written an article in The Christian Post where he blasts Ellen saying, "Ellen Degeneres celebrates her lesbianism and 'marriage' in between appearances of guests like Taylor Swift to attract young girls," as Raw Story reports. Ellen couldn't let such nonsense stand:

“Larry I don’t even know what it means to celebrate my lesbianism,” DeGeneres responded.

“Well,” she said, then shot streamers out of a party favor she produced from her jacket pocket. “I guess it’s that.”

“Larry,” she said, “The only way I’m trying to influence people is to be more kind and compassionate with one another. That is the message I’m sending out. I don’t have an agenda. I’m not here to brainwash anybody.”
