Quest for 'Veronica Mars' Movie Launched in the Biggest Kickstarter Project of All Time: VIDEO

Rob Thomas, Kristen Bell, and the cast of Veronica Mars (with Warner Bros. blessing) has launched the biggest Kickstarter project of all time, and they're already almost halfway to their initial goal of $2 million.

Life has taken Veronica away from Neptune. In the years since spoiling Keith's chances to be reelected sheriff, Veronica hasn't taken a case. But something big is about to bring her back home and back to her calling. My goal is to include as many of your favorite characters as possible. It is, after all, time for Veronica’s 10-year high school reunion. Keep in mind that the more money we raise, the cooler movie we can make. A two million dollar fundraising total probably means cross words are exchanged at the class reunion. Three million? We can afford a full-on brawl. Ten million? Who knows...

Kristen Bell And Dax Shepard Say It's 'Tacky' To Marry When Gays Can't: VIDEO

Like other Hollywood couples before them, sloth-loving actress Kristen Bell and fiance Dax Shepard have vowed not to marry until same-sex couples from coast-to-coast have the same rights. Unlike some other couples — hello, soon-to-be Mr. and Mrs. Brad Pitt — Bell and Shepard promise to keep their word.

Said Shepard to CNN: "We're not going to have a party when half of our friends ... can't do that thing we're doing. We're not going to ask them to come celebrate a right they don't have. That's just tacky! Forget like anything else, it's like really tacky for us."

For her part, Bell remarked, "I don't believe in standing in the way of love, and I want to stand up for that right. And that's what it is. If someone wants to commit their life to another person, why would I not bolster that argument?"
