The Human Rights Campaign is looking to give Russia's LGBT Community a big boost of support leading up to the Sochi Olympic Games with the launch of its "Love Conquers Hate" solidarity campaign today.

Via press release:

Screen Shot 2013-11-04 at 3.07.37 PMParticipants will share a photo of themselves wearing the Russian-language version of HRC's iconic Love Conquers Hate t-shirt on their social media platforms with the hashtag #LoveConquersHate, encouraging their followers from around the world to do the same. Each photo that is shared with the campaign hashtag will be aggregated at www.loveconquershate.org. 100% of the net proceeds from the sale of the t-shirts will go to a fund that supports LGBT advocates in Russia.

The campaign site also features a diverse group of prominent celebrities, athletes, and politicians who are speaking out in support of the LGBT community in Russia and against the country's homophobic laws. Participants include: Jonah Hill, Kristen Bell, Fergie, Kelly Osbourne, Kevin Bacon, Jamie Lee Curtis, America Ferrera, Ricky Martin, Perez Hilton, Anthony Bourdain, Wentworth Miller, Tim Gunn, Jason Collins, and many others.

Said HRC President Chad Griffin:

"Love and equality are universal values that aren't limited by language or national borders. We stand with Russia's LGBT community and their allies, and we are committed to doing as much as we possibly can to support their efforts to repeal this heinous law."

Following SCOTUS Rulings, Kristen Bell Proposes To Dax Shepard On Twitter

Bellshepard

Kristen Bell, who back in August proclaimed that it would be tacky for she and fiance Dax Shepard to get married when her gay and lesbian friends could not, took to twitter today to propose to Shepard, inspired no doubt by the historic rulings issued forth on DOMA and Prop 8:

Shepard seemed to accept:

Quest for 'Veronica Mars' Movie Launched in the Biggest Kickstarter Project of All Time: VIDEO

Mars1

Rob Thomas, Kristen Bell, and the cast of Veronica Mars (with Warner Bros. blessing) has launched the biggest Kickstarter project of all time, and they're already almost halfway to their initial goal of $2 million.

Life has taken Veronica away from Neptune. In the years since spoiling Keith's chances to be reelected sheriff, Veronica hasn't taken a case. But something big is about to bring her back home and back to her calling. My goal is to include as many of your favorite characters as possible. It is, after all, time for Veronica’s 10-year high school reunion. Keep in mind that the more money we raise, the cooler movie we can make. A two million dollar fundraising total probably means cross words are exchanged at the class reunion. Three million? We can afford a full-on brawl. Ten million? Who knows...

Check out the trailer, AFTER THE JUMP...

Kristen Bell And Dax Shepard Say It's 'Tacky' To Marry When Gays Can't: VIDEO

BellShepard

Like other Hollywood couples before them, sloth-loving actress Kristen Bell and fiance Dax Shepard have vowed not to marry until same-sex couples from coast-to-coast have the same rights. Unlike some other couples — hello, soon-to-be Mr. and Mrs. Brad Pitt — Bell and Shepard promise to keep their word.

Said Shepard to CNN: "We're not going to have a party when half of our friends ... can't do that thing we're doing. We're not going to ask them to come celebrate a right they don't have. That's just tacky! Forget like anything else, it's like really tacky for us."

For her part, Bell remarked, "I don't believe in standing in the way of love, and I want to stand up for that right. And that's what it is. If someone wants to commit their life to another person, why would I not bolster that argument?"

Watch the couple discuss their commitment to equality AFTER THE JUMP. I've also included the infamous video of Bell having a breakdown over meeting a sloth, just because it is such a great video and will (hopefully) make you smile.
