I spent many hours over the weekend glued to hurricane coverage on CNN and other channels, but Celine Dion’s appearance on Larry King Live over the weekend was among the most powerful and moving interviews. Truly a must-watch.
The singer pledged $1 million for hurricane relief but her spontaneous conversation and song with Larry King had me in tears: “How come it’s so easy to send planes in another country to kill everyone in a second and destroy lives? We need to serve our country and for me to serve our country is to be there right now to rescue the rest of the people…”
