Jesse Metcalfe tells Metro UK that he doesn't mind being objectified on screen:
“It's still relatively early in my career and these are the roles I'm getting. If taking your clothes off is part of the story and you end up becoming a sex object then so be it. It's not something I'm in control of. I'd like to play deeper characters in the future but I can't complain at the moment.”
And from the non-denial dept, he also says that the gay rumors don't bother him: “As long as your friends and family and people you care about know who you are then that's the most important thing. You can't concern yourself with every little thing people say about you.”
He does, however, deny plucking his eyebrows (“The make-up people do it for me when necessary. I wouldn't know how to go about it.”) and shaving his chest on a regular basis: “I only do that when I'm working.”
